Hi,
I wrote a pizza delivery application, and I need to connect it to the
telephone so when the customer phones for a delivery the program gets their
telephone number and do a search in the list of customer in the customer
table, if the customer found it will be brought up other wise bring the add
new customer form.

I use Delphi 5 with DBase.
Can any body advice on what I need to achieve it, do I need any hardware
from
my telecom company, somebody mentioned the word CTI, does this ring a bill
to anybody.

CTI is Computer Telephony Intergration, CLI is the Callers Line
Identification - I am interested in doing the same thing in my app -
collect the Callers CLI and then look it up in a DB Table so I know whos
calling before answering the phone.

The CLI is a service you get from Telephone company. Once you have this
service you may want to use somthing like AsyncPro from www.turbopower.com
