I'm using D1 and D2 with Paradox 4 tables. They all have the language
driver set to 'WEurope ANSI' because this best supports all American and
most European characters. I own Paradox 4.5 which does not support this
driver, so whenever I need to see my memo field (and therefore cannot
use DBD) or else I have to change the driver before and afterwards.
Since Paradox 5 is available pretty chaep in conjunction with other
software on a sampler CDROM, I wonder if this would help me. The shop
had no clue. Is there anybody out there using Pdox5 who can tell me if
the WEurope ANSI driver is part of it?
Thank you in advance.

I have only seen this driver with 32 bit BDE are you shure you are
using Delphi 1 with WeuropeANSI ?
If you are then where ever you got that version of BDE from install it
on your machine and you can use Pdox 5
