Anyone know of any problems loading Interbase on the same computer that is
using Paradox through the BDE?

Here's my problem: So far, two of my customers have experienced the exact
same symptoms. Our software, written primarily in Delphi 4 and some parts
now in Delphi 5 (in the process of converting). Everything works great until
the customer loads Interbase onto the same PC that is running our software.
Now our application slows to a crawl and is unusable. Just loading a program
and initializing the BDE (through opening tables) takes in excess of 5
minutes where it used to take under 10 seconds.
Any input would be appreciated...
