Can't re-create a clientdataset ?

Hello,

In versions previous to Rad Studio 2007, if i had a TClientDataset with fields, i could right-click on it, clear data, add some files and right-click on it and create datset again. Now i can't do it anymore ? If i wanna to add a TField, i need to delete the entire component and create it again ?

Actually you have never been able to do that without also clearing the
fielddefs. Been a long standing bug in clientdatasets that it won't add to the
feilddefs if they are already defined which they get defined the first time you
create data on the CDS.
