Program slower with C++ Builder 2006

Hello.

I've just migrated an application from BCB 5 to BCB 2006, but the new
application runs slower than the original one.

I've compiled a release version, with optimizations for fastest code
enabled. Anyone has an idea of what is the problem?

Hi,

I have the same problem, just migrated from BCB6 to BCB 2006. The code
compiled with BCB2006 is about twice as slow.
