Hi all, a few month ago I decided to purchase
Vista 64 Bit Business Edition since I wanted to
leverage virtualization technology in testing.

Also, I told myself that customers (maybe) will
be requesting the product we build in Vista.

Finally, the availability of multicore and 64
bit, influenced to get the 64 bit version of Vista
and a quad core CPU.

However I have had some challenges in getting
c++ builder v6 / indy9 working in that Environment.

That aside I will like to move on to a new IDE.

QUESTIONS (finally)
How does C+++ Builder 2007 work (out of the box)
in Vista 64 bit business.

Are there any issues I should be aware of?

Does Indy 9/10 installs well with it?

I will like a hassle free migration to the new
O/S and quick setup with little loss of productivity.

Thanks all.
(know what just realized I can probably download the trial
first ...
anyway...
:)

Colin,

I have both my development laptops setup running under Windows Vista 64
Business and I am running C Builder 2007!

C Builder 2006 did NOT work under Vista 64 for me.

Best Regards,

Shane
