How do I display a current/active time on a Form

I'm creating a graphical user interface that needs to have time and
date.
I have been able to display the date using the date function and time
using the time function.
My problem is the time function,time() only gives me a fixed time and
does not change as time changes.
Could anyone help? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
