Hi

How would you guys execute a HLP file from Help menu?

Do you spawn the file from the click event?

Is there a standard way of calling a help file from the Help menu on my
apps menu bar?

David

Thanks.

There are entire chapters on that particular subject.

You could have find them yourself with these keywords: providing help hlp

The short answer to your 3 questions is WinHelp().

If you use VCL,
Application variable (TApplication class) has a property HelpFile, which you should set. Then you can use TApplication::HelpContext for specific topics
