BLOB Modified Error

I dynamically modified a blob field in a Paradox database. If I access
this field, I get an exception, Blob field modified. Tried to display
it in the Database Explore and get "13058 Blob has been modified
[$33][$2]". Tried to delete record in DBE and couldn't. What brings
about the error...and short of redefining the data records, what can I
do to get back to run mode. Appreciate any help. Thanks

There is an article at
http://community.borland.com/article/0,1410,15209,00.html that gives some
clue as to what is happening with blob fields. It also referred to a Win95
problem with one of the virtual drivers. It provided a reference to a
Microsoft article which in turn gave a download to a .vxd driver. Might
prove to be a solution source to blob problems as well as index out of date
problems.
