Motion Pixels Codec Error

I have an older CD-ROM that won't run on my new HP computer using Windows
XP. It loads fine, even plays the introduction video, but then I always get
a Motion Pixels Codec error message. I've even tried the various
compatibility modes, all with the same results. Unfortunately, Motion Pixels
has long since gone out of business.

Any ideas or suggestions. By the way, the CD-ROM is "Walt Disney - an
intimate History of the Man and his Magic."
