Hi all: I ran the personal edition of C++BUilderX for 8 months
with no trouble. I installed Service Pack 2 (for XP Pro) and the program no longer worked. I tried reinstalling and it hung up on the install.

Probably some new security feature of SP2 but I have no idea what to change and Microsoft is no help.

Anyone else out there have this problem?

I am sorry to hear your troubles.

I have been running C++BuilderX since it came out on
two Windows XP Pro PCs. I installed today the SP2 and
had no problem at all.

Before I installed the Service Pack, I was advised by a
colleague who had some SP problems to make sure that my
computers had the latest BIOS.

Good luck,

-Ramon
