I've switched off all DEBUG options, running under the new BDS environemnt. At link time, its insisting on ORB_BRD.lib (which I understand to the be the debug version of the orb_br.lib library..... which is never shipped to customers, so why on earth have they included directives or whatever to have it pulled in under a debug build?). ... anyways, its insisting on this library. Is there a .h or #pragma option somewhere I can tweak to remove this. Why in the name of god did that put this muck in place? Is the ORB_BRD.lib available? If not, what cretin decided it was a good idea to pull it in ?

thanks and ahve a nice weekend. I'm off to the pub

Hi, grahamo-san

Historically, debug library is not avalable. It is for internal use.
So, could you please just copy 'ORB_BR.lib' as 'ORB_BRD.lib' and link it?

Mwa dunno. I think if you have a support contract at borland, perhaps you
could get it. Ask them?
But copying the lib to the other name let you debug you're own code and that
is all you need right?

Yeah, I copy it to keep the linker happy and off I go. Its a bit silly to have shipped like that but voila.
