Hi,

When I start my partition, in which Apache is managed. I receive the
following error:

Unable to start managed object <host>/apache: Apache didn't shutdown cleanly
previously so can't start. Cleanup before retrying start (see agent log).

I do not know what to do in order to cleanup Apache. Also, the message
refers to agent log, I've searched many log files but none of them describe
situations that I can link to this error.

Does anybody knows what to do in this case?

Thanks in advance,

Stephan Zuiderwijk

I did not see anything strange in the log files, but I discovered a pid file
in the log directory. Removing the pid file solved the problem. But what
causes this failure will remain unclear I guess....

Anyway, thanks for your fast reply,

Kind regards,
