Hello there,
I am using Borland Enterprise Server 5.2.1 and would like to know what
are the command line tools available for administration.
I have used Management Console and am wondering if there is a command
line tool that have similar functionality.
If there are any command line tool(s) that can provide me following
information, please let me know.
1) Names of partitions running in the specified server (iastool has this
option)
2) Status of the partitions
3) memory used by the partitions
4) connection thread pool counts

Thanks
Naveen.

Other than iastool, there isn't much. You can take a look at bmsh
(<installDir>/examples/bmsh), but the implementation in BES 5 isn't well
documented. You could also look at partition lifecycle interceptors for
more advanced stuff (<installDir>/examples/partition_interceptors).
