Hi,

I need to access paradox 7.0 tables from within MS Excel using ODBC. For info i'm using Excel 2002.

Using MS Access (again 2002 version) I can successfully connect using the native paradox driver and import tables etc however within "ODBC sources" in control panel it seems the driver only supports up to paradox version 5.0

Is there native ODBC support for v7.0 or would I need to pay for a 3rd party ODBC driver?

I also have the BDE installed on my machine (it came with the application which has the paradox 7.0 tables I want to access)

is there ODBC built into the BDE perhaps?

Any help on this would be appreciated, as you can probably tell i'm a newbie to Borland/Paradox/BDE

Thanks

Ben

You can find one at

http://www.datadirect.com/index.ssp

Or you can buy corel Paradox. Paradox is less expensive.
