Hello!

I have been searching the whole internet for a place to download the
latest version of BDE (5.2). There is a link on Borland's homepage
(http://info.borland.com/devsupport/bde/bdeupdate.html) but the link
doesn't work.

Does anyone know where I can download it?

Thanks.

Hi!

Thanks for your time and effort, but that doesn't seem to be a valid
installer. It has the .msm file extension and cannot be run. And is it
version 5.2? It says BDE PRO but I don't know what version that is.

I want a file that can be run to install BDE 5.2 without any
prerequisites. But maybe i just don't know how to use the file you
linked to. Any ideas?

Thanks.

It is the merge module to build into an installer for an application
that needs it.

You might find that a dowload of Turbo Delphi from codegear will
include the bde version you need.

Note this group is now dead or dying. The replacement is
embarcadero.public.bde

Ok thanks! I'll see if I can make put the merge module into an
installer. Not very familiar with installation programs myself, but
someone else might know.

Thanks for the tip on embarcadero group too!
