FireFlyDance holds auditions for aerialists, acrobats, gymnasts and
athletic dancers December 17th in NYC

Friday, December 17th, 9-11am at 51 North 1st Street, Williamsburg
Brooklyn - FireFlyDance, a New York City based company which performs,
teaches and organizes aerial dance, circus art and fire manipulation is
holding auditions for 2005 trainees positions with the company.
Talented, inspired, creative artists are sought from a variety of
circus and dance mediums. Must have strong tumbling and balancing
skills. Pilates training is a plus. Possible pay, commensurate with
experience and skill level.

Format of Auditions:
Participants will perform choreographed and improvisational sequences
in groups, duo and solo.

Call-Back Auditions:
Artists selected from the first auditions may be asked return over the
weekend to do any of the following: present a choreographed routine,
learn group or individual choreography, vocal exercises or character
acting.

-Description of relevant skills, training and experience

the primeTime sublime Community Orchestra, a multi-genre New Music ensemble
combining jazz, rock, various world music idioms, country, spaghetti western
and other film music genres, 1950¹s easy listening to various 20th Century
Classical and ³Avant-garde² styles with wit and humor. The primeTime
sublime Community Orchestra fuses these sounds so that the result is
something between a pop song, film score, jazz improvisation, cartoon
soundtrack and an orchestral suite.
