won't allow HTML editing even though it gives me the option

goog grps doesn't let me edit HTML on any "pages" that i supposedly
have full permissions to edit.

for instance, in order to prevent the original page from getting lost
in the shuffle (whenever a link on it is clicked), i tried adding the
parameter:

target="_blank"

to an "HREF=" tag, and the edits disappeared each time i did a save
file command.

but it does allow me to change stuff when NOT in HTML edit mode.

several weeks ago, i had a similar problem trying to embed a YouTube
video .
