Living shorelines, for the sake of this study, can be defined as a form of shoreline protection which helps shoreline stabilization and erosion reduction while still providing estuarine habitat and other ecosystem services. Living shorelines offer an eco-friendly alternative to traditional shoreline protection measures which can be costly, offer little ecosystem services, and often become ineffective by sinking below water level due to highly compactable bottom sediments. This study investigates some of the living shoreline projects completed along the Louisiana coast for porosity and wave attenuation and the subsequent effect on volumetric soil erosion rates. Wave attenuation, while important for reducing wave energy in the shoreward regions, did not show a strong correlation with volumetric erosion rates. However, increasing porosity, ranging from 0% to 35%, was shown to have a relationship with soil volume change rates in that the more porous a structure was, less erosion, and in some cases accretion, was shown across all projects.

The prevalence of an abnormal serum free light chain (FLC) ratio in 34 patients with multiple myeloma in complete response (CR) after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation was studied. Fourteen of 34 patients (41.2%) showed an abnormal FLC ratio. The frequency of abnormal FLC ratio in patients with or without oligoclonal bands was 72.7% versus 26%, respectively (P = .023). The median value of FLC ratio was 2.55 (95% confidence interval, 1.89-3.20) in patients with oligoclonal bands versus 0.87 (95% confidence interval, 0.70-1.04) for those with no oligoclonal bands (P = .011). This is the first report showing that the presence of oligoclonal bands in patients with multiple myeloma in CR frequently results in an abnormal FLC ratio. Because an oligoclonal immune response is associated with a good outcome, our results question the current definition of stringent CR and support that the prognostic impact of oligoclonal bands should be also assessed on multivariate analysis.

Roslund 4 is a Trmpler II 3 m n open star cluster and about 6.3 million years old. Translated this means: a cluster with a medium number of member stars (m=medium), which stands out from the environment and shows a slight concentration (II) and has a rather uneven distribution of brightness among the cluster members (3="bright and faint stars in the cluster"). The "n" stands for a nebula involved in the star cluster.
Star cluster Roslund 4 is located in the constellation Vulpecula, which lies between Sagitta and Cygnus. This is favorable for observation in the months of March to December. Originating from 15 Vulpeculae, a 4.6 mag star, 50 arc minutes north-northeast is a 13 arc minute wide pair of 7th magnitude stars HD 190167 and southerly HD 190228 . Beyond the more northerly of the two stars, the connecting line 15 Vul - pair is extended by a further 50 arc minutes.
Because the Roslund Catalog star clusters were found spectroscopically, they are considered difficult for the visual observer. Despite the Trmpler classification mentioned above, this also applies to Roslund 4. However, the bright nebula IC 4954 simplifies the observation considerably.
200 mm aperture: Even in a moderate sky you can see the brightest parts of it from about 20 cm aperture and about a dozen stars can be found around this nebula. However, one can hardly speak of detached.
400 mm aperture: At 40 cm aperture, Roslund 4 remains an inconspicuous star cluster barely visible against the background; however, the number of faint (fainter 12th magnitude) stars increases significantly. For the visual observer, IC 4954 breaks up into three bright nebulae, which are clearly visible in the 9 mm eyepiece at 400 mm f/5. High magnification should be used for Ced 175c, the northernmost part, as it is small and very close to a 10th magnitude star. In the drawing, the faintest members of the open star cluster have been omitted and the brightest clouds of nebula IC 4954 are shown. No filter was used; the drawn region is about 5x7.5 arc minutes.
"These past few years have been very challenging, not least because of pandemic-related frauds and scams perpetrated on innocent New Yorkers," said Senator Myrie. "Our new law sends a strong message: if you take advantage of people during difficult times, we will take strong civil action against you. I'm very grateful to Governor Hochul for signing this bill, and to my co-sponsor Assembly Member Rozic for getting this bill signed into law."
The Federal Trade Commission estimates that New Yorkers have lost over $80 million to pandemic-related fraud since 2020. Earlier this year, the New York State Attorney General documented one COVID testing company falsely promising results in 48 hours but taking twice as long to deliver, and another guaranteeing 24-hour results that have taken more than five days. The Attorney General has also documented complaints of $14 or $25 COVID test kits being illegally sold for double or triple that amount.
"We are sending a clear message: New York has zero tolerance for fraud, especially in our most critical times of need," Governor Hochul said. "These new laws will protect New Yorkers and incentivize them to report fraud and assist with recovery efforts while cracking down on bad actors and their deceitful attempts to turn a profit during emergencies."
Attorney General Letitia James said, "During the height of the pandemic, New Yorkers were deceived by fraudsters trying to take advantage of difficult times. My office has taken significant action to stop scams, combat price gouging of essential goods, and recover millions of dollars for consumers who were misled. This new law will strengthen our ability to go after those trying to take advantage of New Yorkers. I applaud Governor Hochul, Senator Myrie, and Assemblymember Rozic for taking this important step to protect New Yorkers."
New York Secretary of State Robert J. Rodriguez said, "Protecting New Yorkers against fraud and unscrupulous actors, especially during emergencies when residents are at their most vulnerable, is a top priority of our Division of Consumer Protection and New York State. I thank Governor Hochul for signing these important bills into law and for her continued commitment to New York's consumers."

I think the front works very well. When I was making this I was multitasking doing weight training; do a set, do a step, do a set... and I ended up missing one of the row paths. I discovered this after I finished the basement. :-
I highly recommend this set. In most countries it is good value for money, including Australia. The design is excellent and three instructions are included. (The third is a school. If anyone has made it and wants to post photos feel free! At least one person at EB has made it.) I love how each house has its own car. Due to the way the primary model is made it is a bit weak at the corner, but that was a design choice. My only real complaint about this set is how Lego is going though a mould transition and thus some roof slopes are rough, others are smooth. I can accept either, and Lego has been moving to smooth slopes for years now, but to have a set with about 50/50 is annoying. (The MTT was the same.) But that is my only gripe with this excellent set. *wub*
Thanks for the review, and tons of pics! I've been wanting to pick this one up since I saw it. I thought the 4956 Creator House was nice, but this Model Town House is in a completely different league! I also like the alternate models that you can see in the catalogues.
Thank you for the review Sinner. At first I wanted this set for the 4 blue 1x1 slope tiles, but I can see there is much more into it than that. It sure is a great value compared to what you get in the Building Bonanzas (no cars and less detail).
I found the use of parts well done by the designers. I made a car and then tried to make a house from a different instruction book. I could not as several pieces were already used in the car. Nice to see them using all the parts like that rather than having a lot of "extra" bits.
Awesome review! Luckily you have two cute little friends and one beautiful lady to help you out! :-P I likewise love *wub* this set and your review does it credit! I laughed outloud a lot as I read it. I especially love you trying to look through the windowless back :-D :-D :-D
Definitely a set that was on my 'to get' list already, and this only confirms that. Might make me want two, just because I love tan so much and I'd like to see if something could be done to bulk up that car.
