to Borderlands - An Audiovisual Interface for Granular Synthesis

Borderlands crashes for me (shows splash screen then exits) every time unless i restart the ipad. No other app behaves unstable. This is with the most recent iOS version 14.7.1

Any suggestions as to how to solve this? It makes it impossible to work with the app.
