Share or view as webpage  |  Update preferences In an effort to support our many friends and volunteer groups, we're extending an invitation to attend the annual friends summit and help us re-envision the monthly newsletter. We hope you will take us up on both! Friends of Michigan State Parks Summit, March 8-9 If you haven't already registered for the summit at the Ralph A. MacMullan Conference Center in Roscommon next weekend, time is running out. The deadline is Friday, March 1 for this fabulous, free event! At the summit, you can mix and mingle and learn about planning a day of giving, recruiting and retaining a board of directors, creating a marketing and communications plan, understanding and using the partner match program and working with the DNR on events/concessions, as well as information on volunteer stewardship, the state parks centennial and much more. It's two days of total immersion in state parks TLC. Re-envisioning the monthly friends newsletter Following the summit, we plan to return to our monthly Friends of Michigan State Parks newsletter. First, though, we'd love your feedback on the type of content that would be most helpful and useful to you.
