New Ypsilanti Non-Motorized Draft Plan

Non-Motorized Plan Draft:  The City’s Planning Department has been working on a non-motorized plan for the City, to address infrastructure and policy issues around biking, walking, and similar transportation modes.  A draft plan has been completed, and has been presented to the Planning Commission for review. The next step will be to present the plan to the Ypsilanti City Council in December for their review, and then distributed to surrounding communities and regional agencies for their review and comment prior to final adoption by the City Council next year some time. There will also be a formal public hearing on the plan at a date to be announced.
