My naval squadron moved 4 sea areas and had 5 movement points left. It
attacked 3 times after that and had 2 movement points left. I tried to
move another 2 sea areas but It reported that it had not enough
movement points. At this point, the unit had 2 movement points left
according to graphical representation. I ordered the unit to move one
sea area and the movement points dropped to zero directly after that
move and grahical representation went down to zero movement points.

I need more info to find the error. What unit number? Did you inflict
damage all three times you attacked? Was the unit being attacked
destroyed?

Unit number was 236. I think the unit gave damage each time (not 100% sure) but
the unit being attacked was destroyed.

Also, in a related matter. Unit 236 had 1 movement points left (6-7-1). I moved unit 325 into it and it changed(?) to 2 movement points (6-7-2). I moved the squadron 1 space and it showed (6-7-1) and then disembarked the unit and it showed (6-7-0).

Unit 324 (armored brigade) attacked a naval unit multiple times from a city. When the unit was hit last time and was destroyed, my armored brigade did not expand any movement points (8-8-1). It then attacked another naval unit and destroyed it and it still had (8-8-1).

I think I have found the error. If you attack a unit but do not
destroy it you will lose one movement point; but if the unit you
attacked does not cause any damage when returning fire no event is
recorded and the unit on the map is not updated (only the database). I
will correct this in version 0.11. Thanks for reporting the problem!

Movementpoints are recovered over time. Maybe it was time to update
from 1 to 2...
It will cost one movement point (for the naval unit) to disembark a
land unit except when disembarking the unit into a city hex.
It will cost the land unit one movement point when embarking except
when being picked up by a naval unit moving into a city.

A unit does not (and should not) lose any movementpoints when
attacking if the unit being attacked is destroyed.
