Hey all,

Came across this conference a few weeks ago and have managed to juggle my schedule to make it up to Edinburgh for 24 hours.  I'm looking forward to the event - I run a site which I've successfully built up from scratch the last year and a half: www.digitaldeliveryapp.com  I'm not quite sure how the talk proposals are going to be managed but I'd like to propose one called: "Zero to four figures a month: lessons learnt in my first 18 months bootstrapping"  Now I've publicly committed myself to it there's plenty of time to recall all the major lessons rather than try and remember on the day!

Oh and one quick bit of feedback - most bootstrappers I know do normal work in the work (or at least work several days a week for somebody else) so a monday or friday conference would make more sense so travel time can be absorbed at the weekend.  It's also a great opportunity to make a weekend of it rather than rush from your place X to Edinburgh and straight back.  Just a thought for next time.

Looks interesting - and useful for anyone here trying to emulate the
success of http://destroyallsoftware.com or http://practicingruby.com.

We will be running a quick lightening talk session on the morning of
the conference, where people can suggest their talks/sessions and
we'll then crowd-source the schedule that morning.

We have at least three spaces so we can run a variety of session - and
hopefully the weather will be great and we'll have outside for more
informal conversations too.

Thanks for the feedback :-)

This time round we were hoping that we sit well alongside
http://scotlandjs.com/ - which is happening on the 26th in Edinburgh,
and http://scottishrubyconference.com/ which starts on the 28th with
the charity workshops, and runs until Sunday with the Fringe event.

I forgot to say that if people want to post a thread to the mailing
list and get a discussion started about their talks - that would be
great!
