On our trips there’s always talk in the air about what’s the best tent to buy, which stove is most effective, what pack size for different trips, debates over shoes or boots … etc
Our event on 17 August with be that on steroids!
Everyone can share a yarn or two about things they reckon everyone should know about. Whether it be the lightest tent, the latest sleeping mats, the warmest sleeping bag or the flashiest cutlery, bring your gear, bring your knowledge, bring your questions, and look forward to a seriously geeked out evening.
This will be an especially good evening for those with very little tramping experience, as well as fine tuning for those looking to build the ultimate packing list.
I’ll have my pack packed for what I’d take on a 3 day tramp.
Caution: this event may have content that leads to serious spending!

* 5.30 pm at Reuben and Marisa’s house: 23 Jelas Rd, Red Beach. (please park on the road and walk up the driveway) Please consider carpooling.
* Please bring a plate for a shared meal
