Happy New Year to you all :)
Ahhhh, the pure delight of being back at work! No?? Oh well, if you're wondering what your next holiday might be, how about a BnA camping weekend?
In keeping with tradition, for Auckland Anniversary weekend we'll be escaping the crowds for a chilled weekend away - you can choose how much or little activity you want - walking, cycling, swimming etc. In addition to the regional park, there are also other things to see in the area, like the lighthouse at the mouth of the harbour, with panoramic views out towards the Waitākere Ranges.
We'll be heading to Āwhitu regional park, on the southern part of the Manukau peninsula.
The accommodation is $16 per night for adults, $6.50 for kids. Book your own tent site here, in the Peninsula campground:
If you are keen on camping, but don't think you've got all the gear you need, ask on the event page - someone may be able to help out.
This is a mostly DIY trip, but we'll do dinner together on at least one of the nights, maybe both Saturday and Sunday. So we know who is coming, can you please fill in this short google form:
