Walk the Waikōwhai Walkway - Part II (14-March)

Hello BnA'ers

Summer is still continuing so lets get out there and keep exploring Auckland!

In December we walked the Waikōwhai Walkway to the Lynfield end from the park, and that was a huge success so now we'll walk the other half of the walkway ending up at the Onehunga foreshore this time.

Meet at Taumanu reserve at 10:30 to park and meet up and we'll take a couple of cars up to Waikōwhai park, where we started last time and walk back to Onehunga. If you have kids or are running late then we can meet you at Waikōwhai Park main carpark like last time and we'll shuttle people back to their cars after the walk.

The walk is about 5km but there will be a further option to loop around Onehunge Bay reserve also to add another 2-3 km onto the walk.

Meet time of 10:30AM and bring lunch, something to carry water in, subscreen, hat's etc. Please RSVP so I can figure out numbers.
