Compiling and installing MINI as (M)IOS

Compiling and installing MINI in a separate IOS, or as MIOS, does not
work. MINI crashes somewhere in the elfloader or in _start. I tried
modifying elfloader so the real address it was loaded at is used,
rather than zero for the base address, with no success. How does MINI
as IOS work for this?
