A new group of young Venezuelan politicians, led by Henrique Capriles Radonski, has become a strong alternative for the forthcoming presidential elections. However, President Chavez remains highly popular despite his ongoing illness.
Join Harris Alumni Richard Obuchi for his talk about the Venezuelan political scenario, and his experience working in the Venezuelan political context. Mr. Obuchi will address the key elements of the Bolivarian Revolution, the consolidation of the Venezuelan
oposition coalition around Capriles, the political scenarios Venezuela faces,
and the impact of the election's outcome for the region.
Mr. Obuchi has held senior positions for the Center for Public Policy and International Center of Energy & Enviroment at IESA. He is currently serving as the CEO for ODH Consulting Group, one of the leading political consulting firms in the country
