I am new into responsive web design and but I have a problem with my first website when viewed using opera mini. I want to ask why is opera mini hiding content and changing my widths when single column view is on. is there something I can do to prevent this. I tried everything I know int web design and it's still the same unless there are tricks out there that I don't know of.

Here's the image. I am not sure what the issue is here, but by looking at the URL it seems that the image is hosted using amazons3 and there might be some caching mechanism in it that opera isn't handling well. What are the workaround with these? I simply can't drop opera mini support as 50% of my site's traffic is coming from there. The best way to test this is by downloading Opera Mini on your devices (i was trying the simulator provided at the site here, but it didn't work)

If I convert the same image on photoshop Opera mini displays it correctly.

Based on this, I can assume that the problem isn't related with cache or amazonaws, it's in the relation between opera mini and images with JFIF Resolution 1 pixels/None

Type [*.] before the domain name to create an exception for an entire domain name. Creating an [*.]opera.com cookie exception will apply to pages such as blogs.opera.com and addons.opera.com. IP addresses can also be added as exceptions.

I have created site using jquery mobile. I have tested in mobile default browser and internet browser and its works fine. But whenever I will try to open in opera mini it gives connection error. Opera mini does not open my localhost site.

Heh, just gave this a run on Opera Mini (android). I'm sorry but theres very little I can do here with regards to the comments not loading. Only other tweak I'd be able to do, which isn't even a good tweak... is to remove the navigation menu which does not render correctly.

We just can't support a browser that is so limited. Modern browsers only when it comes to mobile. Also yes, the stats for opera mini, are very very small.
