[boost] Why was the boostorg/sort master branch deleted

Why was the boostorg/sort master branch deleted? The repository has
only a develop branch now.

I'm going to recreate the master branch and reset its head to before
the recent commits, but - I'd like to know why the branch was removed.

Marking master and develop protected might be a good idea.

Sorry,
I used Visual Studio Code for the first time to edit and upload the
changes, and I didn't set it properly, and it uploaded to master instead of
develop.
