Upon high recommendation from my folks in India, I decided to check out this little girl - all of 8 years old singing 'Maa' from the movie Taare Zameen Par in one of the Indian Idol Junior episodes.

Perfect pitch alignment is one thing but the heart touching emotive singing at this tender age and all too nonchalantly is astonishing.

Mugs - she actually is very very good at timing.. but for this one she sang without the music I overlay-ed it with karaoke track using Audacity

Amrutha's voice has steadied since her last stellar performance with BOOMM in 2011. I saw a short video of her humming a familiar tune, posted by Ramana on FB.
