HI,

Using bookshare via google chromebook, a student is not able to start and stop where he left off. I thought the program remembers where the student was and when the digital book is reopened at a later time, it begins on that same page.
Is there a bookmarking feature using a chromebook? I know there was with the ipad and voice dream and read2go.

Chad
I just checked the site out on a chromebook, Bookshare continues to return to the last page....I would make sure the Chromebook has been updated.

Hi all. My understanding is that if the same student opens the same book on the same device, the book should open to where the student left off. Other than that, there is no formal bookmarking capability in Bookshare Web Reader. However, Chrome extensions that work with Bookshare Web Reader, such as Read&Write and Snap&Read, may offer bookmarking capabilities.
