Let me sing my sailing breeze to the world. I want to feel all my relatives that succeed to the thrill. You want to pick up your heart, billow out to the world. I have something to say, I'm letting it out. Come sail with me in the holy pipes that set us free. Come sail with me become the smoke of the eternal breeze. You are my Brother, the Sun that shines. You are my Sister, the loyal divine. You are my relative, a child of mine. We are the children of the Rainbow that climbs the horizonal fields.

Take hold of all the pipes that blow, the winds that sow your name. Gift hope in what you dew today, to lift your sailing rays. A spirit inside knows just what to ride, the wings of the hope in you. Come dream inside the holy pipes, that sing a dream come true, when we are sharing the sacred views. There is a place where wonder does say, we are the gentlemen looking this wave/greeting/way. Then we will know the kingdom will swell, a heart that overflows.

All the holy pipes need a song to fill the winds. We are the prayers, start singing again. Feel the greatness inside of you and me. We are the holy pipes in the sacred seas. Tell all your Brothers, it's time to come home. Sit by the fire and listen to the stories of gold. Then your Sister, will be shining true, she will be carrying love for you. We are hoping for loving waves to sail. Good weather/whether show me, I have a great whale/wail. My song will be lifted out to the loyal seas, those who listen with their hearts to beat one company. Relatives of the sea.

We are the treasures, each and everyone. We are the songs that help us come to the rungs. Each step we take and learn about love, come from the heart that sings like a dove (peace become you). I wish for mountains to touch all the skies. There is a circle, look around and it's wide. On top of the mountain the view is sow true, because we are looking down into the valley walls of this view. All my waters that shine, let my tears hold divine. I am true to the world, because I can sail. Let me sing like a cloud. Let my breath show the wales. I want to know greatness inside of my sails.

Singing true to the holy pipes in me. Singing for the prayers for all the sea. Let my Relatives be born in the highlight of the storm. Tell them true, we are blue. We are family that need me and you. We are the holy pipes that set this world free, because we are sacred living breath, the sailing upon the seas at our best. We bow and pray to find the heart that says, "I love you true. I know you too. We are the kinsmen we knew. We are the children of the blue" (relatives on the tree of life).

White Buffalo Calf Woman sings and Holiness David Running Eagle Shooting Star drums for all our Relatives around the world, to bring in praise for all our sails. To bring in goodness in all we dew, to cling like a vine, to be holy and true. We send our love to you. Rainbow Warriors of Prophecy shines for you. Alightfromwithin.org

Pipe Blessing for the Pipes from Sir Henry Seed of Salvation, elder violet child for the elders meeting starts again.
I bless this pipe for all that gifts to bring us home to the solid drifts. To build castles in the sky, to help heal far and wide. I bless this pipe for elders to procure, the Sabbath that lives near. I send my blessings of the streams down inside the four holy beams, that stands tall and mighty free, because heaven and earth has a hold on me. I bless this pipe and all the pipes today, that carry us forwards to learn a new wave. Sharing and bearing/baring all our struggles today, to heal and become sacred to make others feel. Blessings to the waking of the dawn, to help men move along. I bless all my elders in the trees of life, because you hold onto others who gift to us strife. We hold on because they need us sow, to plant k/new seeds and watch them grow. I bless and heal all this mess, heaven on earth at it's best. I bow and praise, gift my heart away. Ten rows (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0) of solid grow, to make all the streams know, we are together again.

Inline image 2 Pipe Blessing from River of Glimpses, violet child (she touches everybody, literally on the top of the head, all the elders and relative near and there are lots and lots of them. We await till she is finished. too many people, how about you spray them. She starts to spin and little flecks of light dust, fall as she spins and everyone is touched, even the hidden.)

Pipe Blessing for the Pipes from River of Glimpses, violet child
I bless this world to find a place, to gift a human face. Each a sunshine beyond compare,  because each is a treasure rare. I bless the four corners of this world. I bless all the sacred herd. I bless the world in deep inside of me, because I feel the words. I bless the nine streams that flow, and the sky for making it glow. We are prisoners of our shame, let this pipe help heal the pain. And if we could forgive everyone, we would bless them under this great sun. I send my love into the stream to bow and gleam. I wish a blessing upon everyone, because we are longing for this sacred rung. Each step we take to live is under the heavenly roof begins. And we who bless the smoke that rise, spend time with open eyes. We are conceiving it all today, to help blow us another ray. And as the pipe is filled with smoke, I hope all take a holy scope. We are visioning to be free, until it's time for the great harmony. When we are apart, the pain does bear, because we stars, like we care. And as the Shooting Star our Father does dare (Holiness David Running Eagle Shooting Star/Father Red Hand), I say to him, let us be aware. Blessings are what keep us afloat, instead of us mocking this boat. We are in need of rescue you see, each child needs some company. And if we send our love out to be aware, then others will learn to care. We bow and bless the sacred winds, to make our hearts sing again. Let every voice, the pipes are cleared, in order to eliminate fear. I bless all my Elders today, I bow down with you as you pray. And I know that my Mother (White Buffalo Calf Woman/Twin Deer Mother) does care, for each little child to be aware. I wish upon this sacred room, the pond in which we are to groom. This is the place we reside, I hope all dreams will preside over us and into the land, where we are sacred as it is planned.

White Buffalo Calf Woman Pipe Song for the Elders Agenda Meeting (lyrics)
Singing, strumming, feeling all those waves. Horses riding across the fields and plains. So many galloping by. So many stories that lie (upon our hearts). Heaven is coming to your soul. Spirit inside wants to grow. You feel all that comes your way. Thinking you have something to say (spokes). How will everyone understand you're on the run? How will everyone understand your rising sun? How will everyone get the grasp of what we've done? We have gotten to the places of the pipes that fall down.

Sacred stories everywhere. Talking about the pipes and if we cared, we'd do more you see. We'd talk about the liberties. The pipe is about the story that we bless. The holy smoke that prepares the nest.  Don't you see, it's a story about the bees (Great Dreams). What do you want to bee today? How you know in the sacred display, it's a dream you have. Doesn't it seem to make you mad (crazy mess)? If you only knew the story, you could be concerned. How to take care of this sacred urn. Starts with a red bowl where the fire will glow. Let's purify everything that we towed/toed/toad/told.  And it's getting heavy on my back.  It's like a big lap sack. I've got to get rid of this, to feel free. I want a blessing to forgive my enemies. If only I could drop it and give it company (send it to heavenly).

And now the story is coming true. It's the holy smoke going through the pipe to you. And there you see, it's the Spirit that rise. It's says, "I can hear your heartbeat, now the sack is alive." Sacks alive. It says, "My spirit survives". My spirit is alive. I blow the smoke out to the world. I say, "I've got a holy beam. I'm sharing I've told, all the stories and dreams that come out of me. I'm going to send it along to the other leaves (relatives on the tree)". And as it goes by, it gains some tows/toes. And get's heavier and heavier and now I got to cry. All the tears that go down help supply the living trees that are speaking their lies (upon the hearts). We forgot to bless on the journey of the nest. Oh fake and all the disease. We forgot to say, Could I bless this stream that's flowing from the pipe, it's where the fire comes inside of me. And there I say, "Oh I bless this smoke. And where I send it on out for the holy cabode (thread, strands, bundle, in the ends). It's a place where I dump all my waste (impure). It's a place that I say, "Could you bless this space..........sssssssssssssssss"

Sow heavens telled/told me a story today. I got some lessons and I've got to learn my way. I've got to be holy a walking folk. The one who's talking about the holy choke (red berry). It's where I am getting "ah, I can't breath". I'm feeling someone is standing on top of me. How will I get out of this place that is crushed deep. I say I willow the holy street (every seed survives). Bless the stream. Bless this dream. Bless this smoke, the breath of life I gift. I tell you true, it's places where the waves will drift. Getting heavier my sack of tears and now I want to relieve it instead of have fear. So I bless and I'll say, it's the holy waves. We're together and we'll share one plate.

And as we share all our bread. We share together everything we said. And all the fields will grow rice again, because the waters, you know we'll let them all in. And all the trees will grow up tall. And all the animals and birds they'll know how to be small (elder). And we'ill all gather around where the water holes. That's the place, you know where everything green grows. Now I have something to put inside my pipe that's green (a spirit). It will help me remember the story of pipe gleams (all the colors). It's where it begins, it's the fire in the pipe. That's where the bowl says, "We're living in stripes" (rainbow). All those colors emerge and a story unfolds, as it journeys along there's a sacred rainbow. And up inside me and out again, I'm the holy breath and I am living in the wind. I'm living in the wind.

ABOUT THE LAKOTA SACRED RED STONE C’ANUNPA

Lakota Spiritual Leader and Head Man, David Swallow, Speaks Out on the Lakota Sacred Pipe  by David Swallow

Edited by Stephanie M. Schwartz, www.SilvrDrach.homestead.com/Schwartz_2009_Jun_04.html

\

The c’anunpa is Wakan, very sacred, and it is used only for prayer and good things.  We don’t call this c’anunpa a pipe because in the English language the word, “pipe,” has many different meanings.  Steel pipe, lead pipe, plastic pipe, sewer pipe, water pipe, there are many kinds of pipes.

The English language has often gotten me into trouble.  It is a very dangerous language, like a sponge with too many holes, too many ways to interpret it.  It’s easy to get misunderstood.

But I want to make it clear.  This c’anunpa has this name and this Lakota word,c’anunpa, comes from the Creator.  That’s the only name for this sacred object; that alone, nothing else.

I’m also not talking about the Sacred White Buffalo Calf C’anunpa which was brought to the Lakota people nineteen generations ago.  I’m talking about the red stone c’anunpa which is even older.  It is very ancient, from the days of the sacred spotted eagle, wanbli gleska, and it is the oldest c’anunpa we have here.  It is the blood of our ancestors, the Lakota.

Whenever you see a red stone c’anunpa, it is a Lakota ceremony.  By Lakota I mean it is only with the Lakota, Nakota, and Dakota [Sioux] Nations.  Other American Indian Nations may have their own traditions with prayer pipes or peace pipes or ceremonial pipes which are made of a different stone.  But the red stone c’anunpa is Lakota.

Today, I must speak about the c’anunpa because now everyone seems to have one.  If people are going to have one, they must understand and follow the laws and commitments which accompany the c’anunpa.  Unfortunately, many people do not know these things and do not follow what the c’anunpa says.

The C’anunpa Way is the Lakota Way.  You carry it for the people, to pray for their health and help, to pray for the healing of the body, mind, and spirit.  It is very wakan, it is very sacred, and it is not for selfish or greedy use.

So, we must know our original instructions for the c’anunpa.  We have to know them and we have to follow them.  There’s a way to carry a c’anunpa and there’s a way not to carry a c’anunpa

A little child should not be given a c’anunpa or carry a c’anunpa.  They do not know or understand.  Moreover, they themselves are innocent and sacred.

Additionally, if a woman is in her time of menstruation, she is going through her own personal purification ceremony and she is in her sacred time.  She should not be near a c’anunpa or other sacred ceremony.  This is because you do not cross ceremonies; you do not perform two ceremonies at the same time.  If you did, they would cancel each other out.

As I said, the c’anunpa itself has its Way.  Its original instructions were given to us in the days of the winged people by a holy woman sent by Creator.  It is the c’anunpa that is going to teach us this Way and it will also bring us back to our own original instructions as humans.

It is through the c’anunpa that we are going to survive.  But as long as we fail to follow it, that survival will never happen.  We’ll end up simply existing in a “guess” world, an uncertain world filled with pain and confusion, that’s all.

Yet, if you are not willing to follow the original instructions, then it is better not to carry a c’anunpa at all.  It would be better not to accept it in the beginning.  Because, once you carry it, you may try to put it down physically but you are always going to be a c’anunpa carrier in the eyes of the Creator, the Four Winds, and Unci Maka, Grandmother Earth.  You cannot turn back.  It is a lifetime commitment to Creator and it can be very difficult.

When you are given a c’anunpa to carry, you are asked these four questions:

·         You have the c’anunpa and you pray and you think you are safe and that you belong to Creator.  But what if a person comes and hits you in the face?  What are you going to do?  Do you pray?  Or do you put thec’anunpa down and start fighting back?  If you do that, it means you are weak and cannot carry a c’anunpa.

·        So you get past that, and you think it’s done, and you are standing right there praying.   But what if a dog comes and urinates on your leg?  What are you going to do, kick it away?

This dog symbolizes other people.  So the question really means, you’re praying well and doing things right but people are making fun of you or they intimidate you or they misjudge you or judge you unfairly.  Or it means people make fun of your half-side or your children and laugh at you and your family.  That’s what it means.  What will you do then?

·        So you think that is all in the past and you’re ok and still standing there praying.  But what if somebody came and beat up your loved ones right in front of you?  It could be your children or your wife.  It could be your dad or some loved one that they beat up right there in front of you.  What are you going to do?  Are you going to use the c’anunpa to curse them?  No.  If you do that, you are weak and cannot carry ac’anunpa.

·       So you think you got past everything and you’re in the clear and you’re still standing there praying.  But what if they kill or brutalize one of your loved ones right in front of you?  Are you going to quit the c’anunpaand get angry with the Creator?  Are you going to leave everything and walk away?  If you do, you are weak and cannot carry a c’anunpa.

They ask you these four things before you accept the c’anunpa.  They tell you all these things and then ask you if you still want to carry a c’anunpa.  Four times they will ask you.  If you agree all four times, then ok.

Then they will say, “You are really unsica, you are a really pitiful human being, but you want to do this.”  They will sing an ancient song to you and say, “So now, here is the c’anunpa.  Carry this and don’t fool us again.  Carry that c’anunpa in a good way.  You are now a c’anunpa carrier.”

But remember, you carry that c’anunpa for the people, not for yourself.  There’s no private c’anunpa.  You help pray for the people who need prayers.  You are a strong person.  Even though you are pitiful, you are also a strong person and that is why you carry this c’anunpa

That is why you need to stand like the buffalo against the snow storm or thunderstorm, with your head into the wind.

You do not misuse this c’anunpa in any way or any form.  There are seven laws to abide by with the c’anunpa. You must abide by these laws.  If somebody doesn’t believe me, hold the c’anunpa bowl, sit someplace by yourself and listen. Then it’s going to repeat these things to you.

·      When you make the oath and accept the c’anunpa, you have to have a true wounsila, a true compassion.  Not from the mind but from your heart, you must have wounsila.

·        You must act with honor and respect towards your mother and father and all living things.

·        When you carry a c’anunpa, you also have to have the forgiveness.  You have to first forgive yourself for what you did to yourself, not what somebody else did to you.  Then you forgive your relatives.  Then you forgive the others.

·        You cannot kill when you carry the c’anunpa.  You cannot carry the c’anunpa if you have blood on your hands.  That means, you cannot carry the c’anunpa if you murdered somebody in cold blood, if you murdered a defenseless and peaceful human being.

Having blood on your hands does not apply to those who must kill as warriors, as soldiers in a war.  Killing in war is war and there have been wars throughout history.  A soldier is not a murderer.  My grandpa always said, “When you are a warrior fighting in a battle, kill your enemy without hating them.  That way, if they happen to kill you in the battlefield, your spirit will go into the heavens like an arrow shot into the sky.”

·        You cannot hate anything or have an angry heart.  This also means that you cannot participate in things that create hate like gossip, lies, jealousy, and envy.

·        You cannot steal or cheat.

·        You must not use the for selfish, hurtful, or greedy reasons.

It all comes down to one little phrase: “Mitakuye oyasin,” (all my relatives) we are all One, we are all related in the sacred hoop of life.  To have true Mitakuye oyasin, then you must follow these things and carry the c’anunpa in a good way, in the right way.

So, whether you are awarded a c’anunpa or the spirits give you a c’anunpa, it doesn’t matter.  Everyone has to follow these original instructions, the protocols as they call it.  If they do, then the c’anunpa will continue on for the next generation and the generation after that.

Ho he’cetu yelo.  I have spoken these words.
