Most women believe the erroneous love “myth” that says, “The reason why a person should get married is love.” As a result, most of them fall in love to the extent where they cannot tell the difference between light and darkness, and a truth from a lie.
Once most women fall in love, everything becomes bright and truth. They can drive all the way, on the highway of love, at a high speed jumping all red lights. They will ignore all alerts because of love until they are at the altar to say, I do. It is only two or three years later, if that long, that they will wake up one morning and say, “I saw this and that, but I thought he loved me.”
Taking love as the sole reason for getting married, to someone, is a grave mistake. The reality is that people do not desire to get married because of love, but because they have needs and they choose who to meet those needs because of love.
Let me put it this way; the drive behind the desire to get married are needs, and the choice of who to meet those needs is made because of love. Therefore, love is not the real reason behind the desire to get married; it is the reason behind the choice of who to marry.
Let me give you my heartfelt plea. If you are contemplating divorce because you feel you are married to an emotionally crazy woman or to a husband who is too stubborn to change, hold on! Do not make the final decision to divorce until you finish reading this book.
The same applies to those who are in a relationship that may lead to a marriage proposal; Wait! Do not propose or say yes to a proposal until you finish reading the book. If you are engaged and preparing for marriage, I also encourage you to slow down with the preparations. You will continue after you finish reading this book.
Singles who will read this book have a better chance of making the right choice regarding who to marry and ultimately, have a successful marriage. Who you choose to marry contributes greatly to the success of the marriage, and your ability to choose the right person depends on what you know and not by your ability to fall in love.
