to Book Burro - Talk
Hi, all--
I was wondering if anyone else has encountered a conflict I've been
seeing between NoScript and Book Burro. It appears that NoScript's
anti-XSS measures are catching Book Burro's requests to the various
bookstore/library sites from which it pulls its data. The Firefox
error console shows this error:
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure
code: 0x805e000a [nsIXMLHttpRequest.open]" nsresult: "0x805e000a
(<unknown>)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://bookburro/content/gui.js
:: bb_query :: line 54" data: no]
Things work again when I disable NoScript. Supposedly, NoScript
should automatically allow requests from scripts in the chrome:// URI-
space, and beyond that, my Firefox-fu is insufficient to generate
troubleshooting ideas.
If any of you have any thoughts, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks!
