You might want to set your email settings to "Abridged Email"

I noticed Gladys set hers to abridged email which means that she will
get a digest of emails or groups of emails vs individual. I was
looking for that option. Google groups is similar, but very different
from other groups I've been on. Still trying to figure all that stuff
out. If you can't figure out how to change yours, email me and I will
change if for you.
