Class Tonight

Just a reminder that our final class before the Summer is tonight at 7:30pm.  As I said before, it looks like we're ending the year on a positive note.....Chapter 13, about the beast from the sea and the beast from the land, ending with the words, "Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666."   Hmmmmmm....I'll try to find some positive point to end the year on : ).

Hi MAtthew,

We will see you this evening for class.

What time did we agree upon for our camp lunch meeting on Friday - I think it was 1PM, but want to be sure?

I appreciated the sermon on Sunday and was very grateful we could make it.  It led to a good  discussion on our drive home, and was nice fuel for my trip to the funeral.  I struggle with "Knowing" who the Lord is and having Him feel "real".  Your sermon reminded me of the importance of making  the Lord the center of my life, so thank you for this June 19th gift.  We were sorry not to be able to stay for the picnic and the socializing.

I would appreciate having a copy of the sermon, and if you are interested, Chris and I would be happy to go over it for some fine tuning in the rhetoric department.

I realize September feels like a long way off, but I'm trying to set the church calendar.  My plan at this point is to start Wednesday evening classes on September 8th and then meet every other Wednesday from there through December 15th.  We'll then pick up again on January 5th and continue through June.  I hope this works for people.  Let me know if you see any big problems with this.  The plan at this point is to continue through the book of Revelation.  Thanks,

Hi Matthew,

The plan in general looks good, however Tom has a conference he needs to go to in Hamburg, Germany and I'm going to go along and visit my family too.   We won't be there for the first class, but don't feel you have to change it just for us, we'll catch up.

Thanks for the input.  We'll probably go ahead and start class on the 22nd of September then - Although I can't understand why Joan and Chris wouldn't want to spend their anniversary at class, and why Tom and Rachel wouldn't skip a trip to Germany for it???  : )

 

I'd like to stick to this "every other week" schedule because if we shift it then strange things start happening around Thanksgiving. - Matthew
