Volume 6 - Moloch

I just picked up Book of Angels Volume 6 - a series of solo piano
pieces by Uri Caine. For this largely quiet discussion group, here is
the track listing:

You'll note that the piece "Rimmon" appears twice. The first clocks in
at 4:19. The second clocks in at 6:14. They are stylistically very
different - the first is underpinned by a drriving left-hand part. The
second is more intricate, less intense, more melodic.

Also of note is the angel "Cassiel," who I had found out was the same
name as "Kafziel, who appears in #3. This is the name of the friend
angel in Wim Wenders "Wings of Desire" - the one who features
prominantly in the sequel "Far Away, So Close."

Very enjoyable disc.
