New - coming out Tuesday Sept 25 - Book Of Angels Volume 8 - "Volac"
featuring cellist Erik Friedlander.

Erik has been a "Masada Friend" with Zorn for a long time. He was
also the cellist with the Masada String Trio on Vol 2 - "Azazel."

I have no idea what this will sound like. Reviews I have read of
Ribot's BOA#7 disc have not been that great. I like it quite a bit
myself, but largely in the contect of the other BOA recordings -- not
too much on its own strength.

Can't wait to hear Erik!
