to Zorn's Book of Angels
"Paschal," from the Feldman/Courvoisier disc, is about the most
meditative of any of the pieces in the series. I'm not sure how
"Paschal" fits in with being an angel or a demon or anything, but the
Passover lamb is always called "the paschal lamb." And the date of
Passover (Hebrew "Pesach") is always calculated on the lunar calendar -
with the moon on Passover known as the "Paschal Moon."

I had thought maybe the final plague in Egypt - the death of the
firstborn - might have been executed by some kind of "Paschal" spirit,
but Exodus makes it clear that the deed was done by YHWH himself.

Any insights?
