I happened to be over at Blip.tv and saw Rodrigo's cast on Boojay and
Eclipse. I was curious on what the state of Boojay is. Is it still in
active development?

There are lots of features already available and working (the hardest
bits such as generators and closures have been implemented first) and
it is still part of my personal roadmap to have it complete but not
many code commits happening at the repository these days.

That's good to hear. Considering the current landscape of languages
on the JVM (especially the state of the Java language itself), Boojay
still seems to be unique and to have a great opportunity in that
ecosystem.

I vaguely recall hearing that a possible follow up to the intro to
boojay screencast was going to be in the works. Did that ever happen?
Or maybe at the least, a blog entry with low-hanging fruit that can
be tackled by non compiler gurus could be posted.

It didn't.

I'll work on that.

Thanks!
Rodrigo
