Enhance for QR code detection

Hi,

I have a QR code that gets decoded only after a blur operation due to some salt-and-pepper noise, it comes from a printed sheet scanning. I was woundering if there is better/suggested filter for this.

Perhaps some sort of convolution. Any idea?

BoofCV version is 0.38

Below an example zoomed. Actually the QR core is more or less 1 inch at the bottom of an A4 page.
