pre agility week 4

well after a week of hard work with munch getting him to play and tug
and chase his toy also circular work with turns on the move i was
happy, took him to his control class on wednesday and he was a good
boy lovely watch on his heelwork, nice waits good control on the gate
for his bronze, used as a demo dog for his attention on me i thought
we had cracked it, was i in for a big surprise, get to agility and oh
no, the most scared frightend little dog emerged, so scared he hid in
the tunnel and would not come out, he is just so freaked out there and
after doing some bump jumps and the weave channel i couldn't see him
suffer any more, everything he did he did lovely but under duress, i
took the decision to remove him from the situation before it caused
too much lasting damage, i took him to the tree and did some things up
there with him, a totally different dog, again beautiful heelwork
turns attention happy waggy tail, something is very wrong for him at
agility so i have decided to stop taking him and rest him from
agility, he is only 8 months so still young enough to do something in
a few months, i will proof everything away from the class and see how
that works out, will still do his control and take him thursday to
watch the agility and hopefully he will be o.k.

by the way detour is looking good gem, he was a good boy with what i
saw, xxxxx
