well week three proved to be our demon, after two weeks of very little
training due to sinus infection, exhaution etc it certainly showed,
poor munch was not happy, he started off o.k then went rapidly down
hill, he seemed to not like the dog behind him barking and kicking off
and he escaped and chased the chicken, oops, after that he didn't want
to do anything, couldn't get any play out of him or any directions
which he had been doing very well, it also does not help that i am
very confused with directions, i have no idea of the conception of
right and left and it is very hard for me to get my head round this
which is obviously transferring to munch, he thinks he is doing things
wrong and he isn't, i have had the same with all mine, i find turns
extremley hard to master, and feel really daft in class, it is a
really bad disorder to overcome as some just don't understand what a
huge problem it is, i really need to work hard this week to catch up
but we will try. gem has worked hard with d and it showed, he was so
much more happier than he was two weeks ago when i last saw him, so
well done gem. so i was a very upset mummy today, i felt very sorry
for munch and felt a bit of a failure. never mind, onwards and upwards
let you know how next week goes xx

Oh Yvette I so felt for you today as I know what I was like week one! We all
go away from different sessions feeling down.

Ok, so in your eyes it was a bad week- write it off and look forward
instead. It sounds odd but try to look at it as a positive in the fact that
you learnt something new about Munch today and that means you can formulate
a plan. Don't be shy to say if something is too much for your boy that
particular week- I sit out of enough of the excersises myself!

Munch still did lovely waits so focus on that and just play lots this week
and do some restrained recalls using Don (from him to you)

DON'T feel like bad at all lady! you have to fail sometimes on the path to
greatness, a toddler falls down hundreds of times before he learns to walk
but just gets up and tries again.

Ps for any of you that haven't read Susan Garrets motivating toy article
have a peek- its helped me with D

oh thanks gem will try the toy thing, he is great playing with it here
little monkey, i will print it off and work through it, will be doing
some more things out and about with munch and not just in the garden
so we will see if another venue will help, although he does it all on
thursdays, but obviously we didn't go this week, never mind just know
now that too much all at once is not good for him, get one thing right
and concentrate on that, big hugs and thanks xx
