In sadder news

Sorry to use same channel for both cool and not cool stuff. But some of you may know that my friend Patrick Belden died this weekend. He and I were band mates and friends for 13 years, great guy, impossibly smart and friendly. And could play the electric guitar like a boss. You may know him from the neighborhood, he lived on Greenbrook Way for years. Twin Lakes Pool, Holy Cross church. 

He and I played for the Bonzai a few times as Midwife Crisis: @ Holbrook’s 50th bday, @ a party that Fuquas put together, and @ lots of pool parties where the housefraus got their dirty dancing on. 

In case you’re wondering: alcoholism + depression + divorce + lack of meaningful job for years, after achieving nice success as Alton Brown’s music and sound guy on Good Eats tv show. 

Hug your wife/kids/dog.
