Thanks for your time and all of the helpful information. I'll click on the link that you sent once I get a chance, and I will also tell you if it worked or not. You were correct about having the Epic games launcher as a 3rd Party app, but that is the app that is causing the problem. I installed Epic Games launcher for one thing a while ago, but I don't use it anymore and the update is really needing to be installed. I will try to do this ASAP, thank you once again for all of your help, I appreciate it!
i was trying to update my macbook air and it said that epic games launcher wouldn't close. i went and tried to force quit it, and it still wouldn't quit. not sure what to do now! advice would be appreciated, thanks!
Epic Games does not have a standalone mobile app for their game launcher, similar to their desktop version. However, they do offer several of their games as mobile applications, the most notable of which is Fortnite.
From a gamer point of view, this decision by Sweeney is of considerable importance. Epic Games bringing its store to mobile devices gives users more choices, which is a good thing. Moreover, it would make it easier for gamers to pick up free games that the company brings quite regularly to the market. However, if one doesn't open the launcher on the PC, there is a good chance that one would miss it. With the app on your phone, there may be multiple alerts on the notification bar.
