When I use the Ignition Designer on my external monitor, the edit windows (Tag Editor, Tag Creator, etc.) open on my primary screen. If I move the window to the secondary screen and close it, then next time it will open in a bad location. It will be either totally or partially off screen.

Yes disabling it kind of solved my problem. And my brush inputs are also recognizing pressure still with it disabled. I don't notice anything yet, but what difference is happening now that is windows ink is off?

Still the same on 1.9. Have to have Windows Ink enabled on my Huion tablet settings for pressure to work. This is weird given I have Designer "Tablet Input Method" set to use "low precision" and NOT "Windows Ink" in Designer.

I really don't understand why my Huion tablet works fine in Affinity Photo with windows ink turned off in the tablet settings, yet refuses to work in Designer with it off.

Turning Windows Ink on in my tablet settings makes it work in Designer, irrespective of what I have "Tablet Input Method" set to.

if i set low precision or high precision in AD, windows ink is forced off in AD no matter if i turn it on or off in driver. for example rightclick by tip and hold, doesnt work anymore. the slider or brush size laggin is gone too. but if i switch to windows ink in AD, then the driver setting is turning it on or off, where off disables pen pressure. so i have set to low precision but left ink on in driver, so i can use rightclick by holding on desktop. high precision feels best but breakes my strokes. q620m with latest driver, AF and AD version 1.9

i think you misunderstood me. i can set the ink off in driver and still use pressure, when setting AD to low/high precision. pen pressure only doesnt work, when setting AD to windows ink + turning it off in driver. so with low precisionm setting in AD you should have pen pressure, no matter if you turn ink on or off in driver.

We have a bunch of forms that inherit from a common base class like FormBaseTViewModel. For us the FormBaseTViewModel does a lot of heavy-lifting and it is essential to our existing infrastructure. But the WinForms designer crashes for inherited types. Eg. cant open the designer of Foo where `Foo : FormBaseFooViewModel`. There are certain hackish workarounds available on the internet but they all work only maybe at best 50% of the times.

With the preview released today Visual Basic designer support is completely broken for core projects (null reference Dialog if you try to open any form in designer). They do work in release version at least for supported controls.

Note that you will also reset UI customizations (theme, position of windows, code styles, etc), which is a pain. But seeing as how that Button control is kind of important, I guess it just has to be borne.

I have installed Job Server in AIX, designer in Windows. Both are connected to the repository. Also I can execute job from web admin.
But Designer can not connect to job server. Can any one suggest me what I have to do.

When you do the telnet to the job server, you are doing it from the designer box? If you putty in to the job server and execute SVRCFG, then select option 2, do you see the user listed (ex: ernie@BODI__Oracle)? If so, that is all the configuration normally required. If both of the above work, then I would call support and open a ticket.

I would suggest the direction TO the jobserver is okay, but the reverse is not working. When Designer talks to the jobserver, it just resiters its IP address and an arbitary port as new listener, then Designer drops the connection and start listinging. And the jobserver should itself initiate the communication.
Port ranges can be specified in the designer menu tools -> options -> Jobserver -> port range
Allow for four port numbers at least.

I've got this error unexpectedly after years of using SP designer on particular host with particular workflow-enabled library. I've tried all the solutions from this topic with my Windows10 but only my own worked.Kind of shamanic magic:

I open a board (.brd) file and my "Find" "Options" and "Visibility" windows display. I open a component footprint (.dra) file and my "Find" "Options" and "Visibility" windows are no where to be found. In my .dra file I do a View>Windows and it shows the "Find" "Options" "Visibility" are all checked but I cannot retrieve/see them anywhere in my two monitors. How do I get them back?
