I have loaded both available National Instruments packages ('National Instruments Library 2.2.0-alpha' and 'DAQmx Library 0.1.0'). Neither of them seem to have a Digital Input Source available. I am looking to use this to read in a TTL pulse from another device (to then trigger an analog output).
I am no where near understanding how to create this type of node myself. Does anyone have advice about where I should start?

Cheers.

There have been some discussions on the best way to integrate digital input sampling for the NI-DAQ before (e.g. https://groups.google.com/g/bonsai-users/c/BjElzizf9Uw/m/opf--WrYDgAJ).

I've written some prototypes of this but it didn't develop yet to the point where it is clear how it should look like (given conflicting possibilities of triggering digital reads on external or internal clocks).
