Issues setting up camera capture with a basler camera

I am attempting to create a video acquisition set up using bonsai and my basler camera. Unfortunately, the camera does not seem to connect with the camera capture function of Bonsai. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can connect my camera? I am wondering if it has something to do with specifying the camera index.

I also tried to use the pylon capture package, but I am still having issues determining what the parameter file needs to be in order to connect the camera. 

I was wondering if anyone had any experience using a basler camera and could provide some advice. Thank you!

Hi Courtney,

in PylonCapture if you give the correct serial number (you should be able to find it pylon viewer software) your camera should connect without the parameter file.

to complete what Ania said, the parameter file for the pylon capture package is the one you save from Pylon Viewer (where you can set specific acquisition parameters for example).
